Legal & Policies

Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Casa Morova you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. About Us

Casa Morova ABN 92 698 664 103 ("we", "us", "our"). Registered in Queensland, Australia.

Contact: enquiries@casamorova.com.au | www.casamorova.com.au

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of products from Casa Morova. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Orders & Payment

2.1 Acceptance of orders

An order is only accepted when we issue a written order confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where an item is incorrectly priced or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud.

2.2 Custom-cut products

All wallpaper is cut to your specifications. Orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been received and production has commenced. It is your responsibility to verify measurements, product codes, and quantities before submitting an order.

2.3 Payment

Full payment is required before your order is processed. We do not hold stock or commence production without cleared funds.

PAYMENT FRAUD WARNING: Casa Morova will never contact you mid-transaction to change our bank account details. If you receive any such communication, do not transfer any funds and contact us immediately at enquiries@casamorova.com.au. We are not responsible for funds sent to fraudulent accounts following unsolicited payment instruction changes.

2.4 Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include import duties, tariffs, customs fees, or taxes applicable in your country. Those costs are your sole responsibility. Tariff rates may change between the time of ordering and the time of delivery due to shifts in trade agreements or government policy — Casa Morova has no control over these changes.

2.5 GST

Where applicable, prices include or will be itemised to show Goods and Services Tax (GST) in accordance with Australian law.

3. Measurements & Calculator

3.1 Your responsibility

Accuracy of measurements is entirely your responsibility. We manufacture to the dimensions you provide. We are not responsible for shortfalls or excess materials arising from incorrect measurements, including measurements entered into our online Wallpaper Calculator.

3.2 Wallpaper Calculator disclaimer

Our Wallpaper Calculator is provided as a guide only. Results depend entirely on the figures you enter; if those figures are inaccurate, the estimate will be too. The calculator does not account for all room variables, complex layouts, or professional judgement. Casa Morova makes no warranty as to the accuracy of calculator estimates and is not responsible for any shortfall or excess in materials ordered based on those estimates.

Using the Wallpaper Calculator does not transfer responsibility for measurements from you to us. We strongly recommend ordering a professional measurement if you are unsure, and always adding a buffer of at least 10–15% above the calculator estimate.

4. Colours, Samples & Batch Variation

4.1 Colour representation

We take reasonable steps to represent product colours accurately. However, screen calibration, monitor settings, resolution, and ambient lighting all affect how colours appear on your device. Colour names are descriptive guides only, not exact specifications. Screen-to-real-life colour variation does not constitute a fault or a "not as described" product.

4.2 Samples

We offer paid samples at $5.50 each (inc. GST), with free postage Australia wide. Each sample is A5 size and is intended to allow you to assess texture, weight, and approximate colour before committing to a full order. Samples are non-refundable.

4.3 Batch variation

All manufactured wallpapers are subject to minor colour, tone, and texture variation between production batches. This is a normal characteristic of wallpaper manufacturing, not a fault. Samples are cut from current stock and may differ slightly from a subsequent production run. Reorders of the same product from a different batch may also have minor variation. We clearly disclose this limitation at the time of purchase and on this page; it does not entitle you to a refund or replacement.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping terms, timeframes, costs, and international delivery conditions are set out in our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these Terms.

Risk of loss passes to you upon handover of the order to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damage caused by the carrier once the consignment has been dispatched.

6. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights

6.0 Definition of manufacturing fault

For the purposes of these Terms, a "fault" or "manufacturing defect" means a defect that exists in the product at the time of delivery, arising from the production process. For wallpaper, this includes: visible printing defects such as misaligned pattern, colour banding, ink smearing, or missing print; structural defects in the material such as holes, delamination, or significant substrate weakness present before installation; and supplied dimensions that materially differ from confirmed order specifications.

The following are expressly excluded from the definition of a manufacturing fault: colour variation between digital/screen representation and the delivered product; minor colour, tone, or texture variation between production batches; any defect or damage arising during or after installation; and variations within normal manufacturing tolerances.

Inspect before installing: Any suspected fault must be identified and reported within 7 business days of receipt and before installation begins. Wallpaper that has been installed, trimmed, or adhered to a wall cannot be assessed for a manufacturing fault claim. Beginning installation constitutes acceptance that the product was received in satisfactory condition.

Our full returns and refund policy is set out in our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these Terms.

6.1 Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

6.2 No returns for change of mind or colour variation

We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect quantity ordered, or colour variation between on-screen representation and the product in real life. These limitations are clearly disclosed prior to purchase.

6.3 Evidence requirements

All returns, damage, and incorrect item claims require the submission of photographic and documentary evidence as set out in our Shipping & Returns policy. Requirements include multi-angle photographs, outer packaging photographs, product code label visibility, and a date-stamped reference photograph or video confirming the evidence was created at the time of the claim.

Submitted evidence is assessed using both automated tools (including AI image analysis for metadata inconsistencies, pixel distortions, and deepfake detection) and manual human review for high-risk or inconsistent claims.

6.4 Mandatory return

We require goods to be physically returned before issuing any replacement or refund for transit damage or incorrect item claims. This is a standard fraud deterrent. If returned goods do not match the damage or description provided in the claim, no remedy will be issued.

6.5 Fraud

Submitting false, misleading, or manipulated information — including digitally altered, composited, or AI-generated photographs, fake shipping receipts, or fabricated documentation — in connection with a returns, refund, or replacement claim may constitute fraud under Australian law. We assess all submitted evidence carefully and take fraudulent claims seriously.

FRAUD NOTICE: All submitted claims, photographs, and supporting documents are subject to automated image analysis and manual review. We check for metadata inconsistencies, pixel distortions, cross-angle defect consistency, and AI generation artefacts. Documents (including carrier receipts) are verified against carrier databases where possible. Fraudulent claims will be reported to Queensland Police, the ACCC, and other relevant Australian authorities. For international orders, we will also report to the relevant law enforcement and consumer protection authorities in the customer's country. We pursue recovery of associated costs through QCAT or other legal avenues as appropriate. This does not affect the rights of customers with genuine claims under Australian Consumer Law.

6.5 Return shipping costs

Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Where a claim is assessed as valid and a remedy is approved, we will refund return shipping costs — in full for Australian returns, and up to a reasonable amount for international returns based on standard carrier rates for the item's size and weight. We are not able to reimburse express courier rates, premium services, or costs that significantly exceed standard carrier rates for the goods returned.

You must contact us and agree on the return method before dispatching any goods. We will confirm a suitable carrier and expected cost prior to shipment. Returns sent without prior agreement may not be eligible for shipping cost reimbursement, and Casa Morova accepts no responsibility for unauthorised return shipments.

7. Liability

7.1 Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Casa Morova's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with a purchase is limited to the price paid for the relevant order.

7.2 Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Loss or damage arising from incorrect measurements provided by you
  • Inaccurate results from the Wallpaper Calculator where inputs provided by you were incorrect
  • Loss or damage caused by carrier delay, mishandling, or non-delivery
  • Loss or damage arising from improper installation, storage, or maintenance
  • Indirect, consequential, or economic loss of any kind
  • Import duties, tariffs, customs fees, taxes, delays, or seizures in your country

7.3 No installer or adhesive recommendations

Casa Morova does not provide installer referrals or adhesive recommendations. Any installation decisions are entirely your responsibility and are outside our control and liability.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Casa Morova website — including design, photography, copy, and branding — is protected by copyright and belongs to Casa Morova or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise any content without our written permission.

9. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to any system, submitting false information, or using automated tools to scrape, copy, or interact with our site without permission.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a purchase will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, or at our election, the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).

We encourage you to contact us in the first instance at enquiries@casamorova.com.au — most issues can be resolved quickly without the need for formal proceedings.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our website or placing an order after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
